What is Iyengar Yoga?
Iyengar Yoga is a method of teaching yoga that was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar with a focus on precision, alignment and breathwork. Mr Iyengar is credited with bringing yoga from the East to the West, and for introducing props such as blocks, belts, blankets and ropes, so people of all ages and capabilities can practice yoga.
B.K.S. Iyengar wanted yoga to be for everybody. It continues to be his legacy.
